In a recent audit conducted by the Circulation Verification Council for Wisconsin Community Papers, the following outstanding facts were revealed:
- 99.1% of 26,397 residents interviewed receive our papers
- 81.7% read our papers
- 80.5% frequently purchase products or services from ads in our papers
- 74% are registered voters and say they would be influenced by ads in our papers
The Reader Survey
The ADvertiser, a community shopper located Iron Mountain, MI (circulation: 20634) recently provided ADDS with a reader survey conducted by Pulse Research, Inc. and the following facts were revealed when readers were questioned:
“How frequently do you read the retail store ads in The ADvertiser ?”
88.5% responded either “Always” or “Frequently”
“How frequently do you read the advertising inserts in The ADvertiser ?”
78.5% responded either “Always” or “Frequently”
“How long do you keep your copy of The ADvertiser ?”
81.5% keep their copy three days or longer.
“How many people, including yourself, read your copy of The ADvertiser ?”
A mean average of 2.08 people within the household.
“How long have you been a reader of The ADvertiser ?”
87.5% have been readers for more than three years.
“Do you use coupons when you shop?”
85% responded either “All the time” or “Often”
